All About WCLC
Western Carolina Learning Center is based in the western part of North Carolina. I chose to place this center here because of the wonderful atmosphere and inviting climate of the western part of the state. This area is filled with rich learning experiences for children to explore, and fosters creativity in each child.
WCLC is owned and operated by head director Candice Knox, and is run on a 24/7 schedule. In case you missed that, we are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to accommodate every kind of schedule you can think of!
I believe in helping each child and their family reach their goals, and I feel that by offering affordable care to each family will aid in that aspect. Rationale and Vision
The reason that I chose to own and operate an affordable, 24-hour childcare center was based on the needs of the children and families in my community. Let's face it: many parents have hectic schedules, and many do not work a traditional work-schedule from 8:00am - 5:00pm. We serve families from many diverse backgrounds, and help many families from all walks of life care for their children. My goal in owning and operating WCLC is to give each child enrolled an equal chance at having quality learning experiences and care while their families pursue work and other commitments. We highly encourage parent participation and welcome all kinds of volunteers. But, I can't tell all of the wonderful opportunities and services that are provided to families on just one page!
